The manicuring certificate consists of 350 hours of instruction and work; this number may vary depending on the state in which you want to become licensed. Classes, will begin in September, meet nine hours per day, five days per week.

Program Learning Outcomes
- Effectively communicate with clients and hold successful client consultations.
- Be able to demonstrate the building blocks of all nail related services.
- Properly use nail products and explain the scientific concept behind nail products.
- Understand and demonstrate proper safety and sanitation standards as defined by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology.
- Demonstrate proper time management skills both in the classroom setting as well as on the clinic floor.
- Successfully create a business plan and set future goals regarding a career in the Nail Industry
- Demonstrate the knowledge of the human body and how it functions properly as well as the appropriate use of basic massage techniques used during manicuring and pedicuring services.
