Enrollment requirements
Prerequisites include having an adequate knowledge of reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in the English language. Student must also have earned a high school diploma or GED. Clinical requires a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray. During flu season, students may be required to be vaccinated.

Program
The phlebotomy course includes lectures, laboratory work, and clinical experiences in local healthcare agencies. Students who successfully complete the course are eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam for phlebotomy. Students have the option to take the course only or pursue a certificate.
