Fort Scott Community College Jazz Band Presents Spring Concert

Fort Scott, Kan.—The Fort Scott Community College Jazz Band will present their annual Spring Concert on Thursday, April 21 at 7:30pm. The concert will take place at the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center on the FSCC campus at 2108 South Horton.

 

“We’re excited to showcase our talented students during the spring performance,” said Betty Jo Laflen, FSCC Band Director. “It will be an enjoyable evening of jazz for people of all ages.”

 

Guest artists appearing with the band will feature Robert Kehle, PSU Professor of Music and Trombone Instructor; Travis Laver, Crowder College Jazz Orchestra Member; Willey Abati, Girard Schools Director of Music and FSCC Percussion Instructor; and Greta Adams Erman, former Choir and Orchestra Director. FSCC alumni and friends will also join the band during the performance.
