Fort Scott Community College Announces Current Employment Opportunities
Fort Scott Community College is accepting applications for several employment opportunities across its campuses, including a Performance Director position within the college’s music program.
The Performance Director will play a key role in supporting FSCC’s fine arts department, working closely with student musicians and faculty to enhance performances, coordinate musical events, and support the overall growth of the music program. The position is designed to strengthen student performance opportunities while fostering creativity, collaboration and artistic development on campus. The college has restructured the fine arts department by adding the Performance Director role to help build the programs, and the individual in this role will be responsible for recruiting and performances.
“We are going to have some scholarship signings for incoming band and choir students next week,” said Dr. Jack Welch. “This is an exciting time for these programs, and we’ll have an announcement about our theater program soon.”
Additional openings at the college include positions in academic instruction, student services, administrative support, and facilities and maintenance. These roles support the college’s mission of providing quality education and services to students and the surrounding community.
Applicants for instructional positions are required to submit transcripts in addition to standard application materials. All candidates are encouraged to include a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications.
Applications may be completed online or obtained at the Administration Building, 2108 S. Horton St., Fort Scott. Completed materials should be submitted to the Human Resources office for consideration.
Fort Scott Community College is an equal opportunity employer committed to supporting student success and community engagement.
