FSCC Track Making History
The Fort Scott Community College women’s track won the KJCCC East Conference title and placed third in Region VI Friday to Sunday at the NJCAA/KJCCC. The men finished second in the KJCCC East and sixth in Region VI.
Being able to overcome obstacles through this strange year brought this team together,” Fort Scott Head Track Coach Philip Redrick said. “This weekend our program won their first championship in school history! Last year our program finished at the bottom on both genders at conference. This year our women won the KJCAA East championship. The men finished runner up in the KJCAA East championship. Being able to accomplish these accolades within a year shows how much this group has bought in. We’re excited for this National meet in two weeks.”
