Meats Judging Take 2017 Nationals
Fort Scott Community College is the 2017 A-Division National Champion Meat Judging Team!! The students competed in the Cargill High Plains Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest on October 29th in Friona, TX. They wrapped up their FSCC Judging career by winning every division as a team, having all 4 team members in the top-5 individually, AND winning with another 200 point lead over their competitors!! Additionally, FSCC had 3 students receive Second Team All American Team Honors! Congratulations to Ryan, Rachel and Zack! The All American Award is possibly the most prestigious award of the year, as it honors the top 8 performers in the classroom as well as in the cooler! Exceptionally proud of these kids for this honor!! Please join us Thursday, Nov. 16th at 4:00pm in the Ellis Fine Arts building to celebrate this honor.
