FSCC Women’s Basketball Team to Host Play4Kay Game

Fort Scott, Kan.—The Fort Scott Community College Women’s Basketball Team will host its Play4Kay game at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, February 22, at Arnold Arena, 2108 South Horton Street, Fort Scott. The team encourages all attendees to wear pink to the game to support breast cancer awareness.

Breast cancer patients and survivors will receive free admission to the game, and they will be invited to the basketball court to be recognized during half-time. The team will also sell t-shirts and collect donations for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Established in 2007, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women’s cancers by raising funds for scientific research, assisting the underserved, and unifying people for a common cause.
