FSCC to host basketball camps
Fort Scott, KS- The Fort Scott Community College Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams will be hosting summer camps during the month of June. The purpose of the FSCC Basketball Camp is to teach and develop the fundamental skills of basketball.
The men’s camp will be June 8 to June 12. A morning session for grades 3 to 5 will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. An afternoon session for grades 6 to 9 will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The women’s camp will be June 15 to June 19. A morning session for grades 4 through 8 will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. An afternoon session for grades 9 through 12 will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Both camps will be held on campus in Arnold Arena.
Campers will focus on drills specific to these core elements – passing, ball handling, shooting, and defense. Campers will receive individual and group instruction from staff and players.
