FSCC Nursing Program Receives Full Approval from Kansas State Board of Nursing
The Fort Scott Community College (FSCC) Nursing Department has received full approval from the Kansas State Board of Nursing, college officials announced.
With this approval, the program is authorized to admit 20 students for the Fall 2026 semester.
“This milestone reflects the dedication and hard work of our nursing faculty, staff and students,” FSCC officials said. “Full approval affirms the quality of our program and our commitment to preparing skilled, compassionate nurses to serve our communities.”
The FSCC Nursing Program provides students with the education and hands-on clinical experience necessary to succeed in the healthcare field. Full approval from the state board ensures the program meets established standards for nursing education in Kansas.
