Fort Scott Community College to Host NJCAA Baseball Playoff Series
The Fort Scott Community College baseball team enters postseason play with a 37-15 record and will host a first-round playoff series for the fourth time in the past five years.
The Greyhounds are slated to enter the playoffs as either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed and will face an opponent from the West Division in a best-of-three series at Fort Scott.
Games are scheduled for Thursday, May 7; Friday, May 8; and, if necessary, Saturday, May 9. First pitch for each contest is set for 1 p.m.
Hosting rights continue a strong tradition for the program, which has consistently positioned itself among the top teams in the region. The upcoming series provides Fort Scott with a home-field advantage as the team looks to advance deeper into postseason play.
