Manicuring Certificate

Fort Scott Community College offers a certificate in Manicuring at both our Fort Scott and Pittsburg Cosmetology locations. Through this program, students will learn a variety of manicuring procedures, hand and arm massage techniques, and proper sterilization and sanitation.

The manicuring certificate consists of 350 hours of instruction and work; this number may vary depending on the state in which you want to become licensed. Classes, which begin in March, June, and September, meet nine hours per day, five days per week.


Program Cost / Information:

  • Must have an up-to-date Driver's License & Social Security card
  • Send high school transcripts to KBOC & FSCC
  • School hours:
    • M-TH 7:30am to 5:00pm
    • Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm
