Residence Hall Housekeeper

Knowledge of materials, methods and practices used in cleaning operations.  Knowledge of operation, use and care of janitorial equipment.  Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to building fixtures and equipment.  Ability to work effectively with fellow workers, students and community members.  Ability to read and follow directions on cleaning and chemical labels.  Ability to implement procedures regarding Bloodborne Pathogens laws and regulations.  Flexibility of schedule required to meet the various needs of institutional and community events.

Nursing Instructor (multiple positions)

Licensed to practice professional nursing in Kansas and any other state with students in clinical experience (Missouri).  Master’s Degree in Nursing, preferably in the theory/clinical area being taught, or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, provided:

  • There is adequate guidance and supervision from MSN prepared faculty.
  • A degree plan for a Masters in Nursing is in place.  Note: KSBN requires degree completion in six years; however the program prefers completion in two years.

Foundation Director

Experience managing fund-raising projects.  Ability to work independently, as well as on a team.  Good communications skills, both written and oral.  Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.  Works well under pressure.  Excellent interpersonal skills as applied to alumni, friends of the college, community, faculty and staff, and other organizations.  Knowledge of current concepts and practices in resource development including fund raising for annual, capital, and special campaigns.  Knowledge of tax law as it relates to tax exempt status, charitable giving, estate planning and deferred giving, grant writing and utilization of available public and private resources benefiting community colleges.
