Dawn M. Reed is currently the Store Manager of Goody’s in Pittsburg, Kansas where she has received Associate of the Year and various awards for sales, credit, and magazine transactions. Prior to that, Reed held several positions with Vatterott College in Joplin, MO including Director of Education, Registar, Retention Coordinator, and Librarian

Ms. Reed earned her associate of science in general studies from Fort Scott Community College in 2002. Mr. Hicks, Professor of English and Language Arts at FSCC, had this to say, “As my student, Dawn always impressed me with her diligence and attention to detail. Her career has taken her into positions of responsibility in which she has always taken evident pride in her work.” After graduating from FSCC, Reed transferred to Pittsburg State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in communication. Reed earned her master of science degree in mass communication from PSU in 2006.

Ms. Reed has two dogs, Bo & Roxy. She volunteers with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southeast Kansas, local emergency relief efforts, area Rotary, area benefits for families in need, and Bikers Against Child Abuse in her free time.
