Global Greyhounds

The Global Greyhounds Club at Fort Scott Community College is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange, unity across backgrounds, and global friendship on campus. The club’s goals are to bring greater attention to the international student population, support international students as they adjust to college life, promote cross-cultural understanding and respect, enrich campus life with global events and activities, provide leadership and professional development opportunities, and engage the wider community through outreach and service.

Open to all students, faculty, and staff from every FSCC campus, the club encourages participation in experiences that strengthen awareness of other cultures and the world. Being part of Global Greyhounds helps students grow their leadership, networking, and cross-cultural skills, builds a sense of community through shared experiences, and supports the college’s vision as a campus that looks outward to the wider world.

Global Greyhounds meets Thursdays at 1:15 in the Library, creating a regular space where shared traditions and worldwide perspectives come together to build meaningful connections.
