FSCC Football season comes to an end
Fort Scott, KS. – Due to low active roster numbers, Fort Scott has to cancel the remaining games on the Spring 2021 schedule.
After consultation and review with the KJCCC Football Committee, it was determined the injury and attrition to Fort Scott’s spring 2021 roster has become too severe for the Greyhounds to safely compete. FSCC appreciates the understanding and support from our fellow Jayhawk Conference football schools.
For all the members of the Fort Scott family, this is an extremely difficult resolution. However, it is unavoidably in the best interest of our student-athletes and the future of Fort Scott Football.
The team will shift focus to ensure all academic responsibilities are met and finish strong in the classroom.
With over 30 returners and a signing class of 70-plus, the Greyhounds are looking forward to the future, this coming fall, and the next opportunity.
