It’s easy to enroll in classes at FSCC, whether you’re taking your first step as a first-year college student or high school student, or taking your next step in your career.

1. Apply to FSCC and send official transcripts
Apply online, and send your transcripts to FSCC:
- High school transcripts – mail or fax to FSCC Registrar at 620-223-4927 (must include a graduation date and have a school official’s signature and/or the school seal)
- College transcripts – mail official transcript to FSCC Registrar or send electronically through an electronic transcript service (Examples: eScrip, Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or Scrip-Safe)
- GED – mail official score sheet (transcript) to FSCC Registrar or request electronically by going to https://ged.com/life_after_ged/
If mailing official transcripts, please have them sent directly from the school to FSCC Registrar, 2108 S Horton, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
2. Complete a financial aid application
Complete the FAFSA at fafsa.gov (FSCC’s school code is 001916).
3. Apply for scholarships
FSCC offers more than 350 scholarship opportunities. Learn more about scholarships or apply online.
4. Complete a placement test
Complete the ACCUPLACER test or submit a score of 21 or higher on the English and math portions of the ACT. Learn more about FSCC placement tests.
5. Contact FSCC Advisement Department
Set up an appointment with an FSCC advisor to:
- Enroll
- Choose classes
- Get a copy of your schedule
- Pick up books
