Admissions policy

In accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, and the Regulations of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued pursuant to these statutes at Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 80, 84, and 91, and 28 CFR Part 35. How to enroll

  1. Apply to FSCC
  2. Send your transcripts to FSCC:
    FSCC Registrar, 2108 South Horton Street, Fort Scott, Kansas, 66701
  3. Complete a financial aid application at fafsa.gov
  4. Apply for scholarships
  5. Check your GIZMO account in the Student Portal to ensure FSCC has all necessary forms and information
  6. Take the ACCUPLACER or ACT test
  7. Meet with an FSCC Advisor

Scholarship & Waiver Options

Presidential Ambassadors

Must have/be:
· Kansas Resident
· 3.5 GPA or higher

Will cover:
· Books, Tuition, and Fees up to 18 Credit Hours

Academic Excellence

Must have/be:
· Kansas Resident
· 3.5 GPA or higher

Will Cover:
· Tuition and Books up to 18 Credit Hours

Greyhound Advantage

Must have/be:
· Kansas or specific MO* Resident
· 3.0 GPA or higher

Will Cover
· Tuition up to 12 Credit Hours

Bourbon County Waiver

Must have/be:
· Graduated from a High School within Bourbon County OR Lived in Bourbon County for 5 years or more
· Have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5

Employee and Family

FSCC employee, spouse, or dependent family member of FSCC employee
