FSCC Cross Country 19th in the Nation

Fort Scott, KS–Fort Scott Community College (FSCC) Cross Country team took on Nationals and came in at 19th in the Nation, the first time in program history! 

 

Derek Tratnyek (far left)- Top finisher on the team Placed 37th in the Nation out of 343 athletes With A New PR 25.54 and also Coaches Association All-American winner.

 

Raymond Longoria (second from right) finished 2nd on the Team and place 66 out of 343 athletes with a new PR of 26.33

 

“The Kids ran hard and they did a great job. I’m proud of all of them for a new program, we shocked a lot of people and that’s a good thing. If everyone thought our XC team was good just wait until track season…we have a team that can win conference in our 1st year”, said Head Coach Philip Redrick.
