FSCC Speech Class to Host Speaker on Feb. 22

Pittsburg, Kan.—One of Fort Scott Community College’s speech classes will host speaker Jacob Teats and his grandmother, Yoko, at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 22 at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. As a child, Yoko survived the atomic bomb that devastated Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. Jacob will present her extraordinary story to the class, and his grandmother will be on hand to answer questions as well. This presentation is free and open to the public. The Bicknell Family Center for the Arts is located at 1711 South Homer Street in Pittsburg, Kan.
