Friday December 8th, 2023 at the Ellis Fine Arts Center was a momentous occasion! We celebrated the incredible achievements of our remarkable graduates from Fort Scott Community College’s Nursing Program. A huge round of applause to the graduating Nurses: Kaleigh Clasen, Madison Cole, Katie Jackson, Sabrina Kosman, Rebecca Murphy, Justice Quillin, Madison Shipley, Matthew Stack, Sierra Thomas, and Allea Younggren! Your dedication, hard work, and passion have brought you to this great milestone. Director of Nursing, Jordan Howard, set the stage with a warm welcome and introductions, setting the tone for the celebration. Special awards for First and Second Level Professionalism (1st Level – Terri Phillis; Second Level – Sabrian Kosman) were presented by Nursing Instructors, Darcus Kottwitz and Kaley Binford, acknowledging the outstanding commitment these graduates have shown to their profession. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of pins, symbolizing the graduates’ entry into the noble field of Nursing. It was a heartfelt moment as family and friends, chosen by each graduate, proudly bestowed this honor upon them. Let’s not forget the beautiful gesture of presenting roses, performed by Karleigh Shoenberger, SNO Vice President, adding an extra touch of love and support to our graduates. To all the incredible graduates, we wish you the very best as you embark on this new chapter in your lives! Your dedication, compassion, and expertise will undoubtedly make a significant impact in the healthcare field. Shine brightly as you continue to touch lives and make a difference.
