AGRICULTURE INSTRUCTOR/LIVESTOCK JUDGING COACH *pending board approval
Masters Degree in an agriculture or related field within two years of hire date. Experience with assessment and teaching technical courses in agriculture preferred. The ability and willingness to teach via different modalities, including online. Knowledge of the agriculture industry. Competitive livestock judging experience and knowledge of collegiate livestock judging rules preferred. Willingness to travel, primarily weekends, with the judging team. Experience with recruiting preferred. Strong classroom instruction skills; strong self-motivation; excellent time management and organizational skills. The ability to develop and maintain effective professional work relationships with a variety of people. The ability to relate with students personally while maintaining professional relationships. Valid driver’s license required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
