SUMMARY:FSCC J-D Tech Open House
DESCRIPTION:Greetings from Fort Scott Community College! \nWe would like to invite any students\, parents\, teachers\, administrators\, and friends to our annual FSCC John Deere TECH Open House event on Friday\, November 14th\, 2025\, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. \nThis event is a great way for everyone to find out anything that they need or want to know about the FSCC John Deere TECH Training Program. FSCC John Deere TECH instructors\, staff members\, and students will be available performing demonstrations and answering questions about the program. The FSCC John Deere TECH Training Program is located at 2223 S. Horton in Fort Scott\, Kansas. We welcome and encourage anyone wanting to learn more about the program to attend this annual event. Visitors may come anytime between 8:30 a.m. and noon on Friday\, November 14th. \nCandidates for the program must secure sponsorship from a John Deere dealer before they are allowed to enter the program. After admittance\, students work toward completing their one-year certificate of the FSCC John Deere TECH Program. Students also have the option to continue and complete their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Agriculture Technology-John Deere. Over 95% of students that graduate with a certificate or degree from FSCC’s John Deere TECH program will have a job secured with their sponsoring dealership upon graduation. \nFor more detailed information about the John Deere TECH program please visit our program of study webpage at http://www.fortscott.edu/johndeere. \nIf you or anyone you know plans to attend our FSCC John Deere TECH Open House event\, please send an e-mail with your name\, school\, and number of students attending to daleg@fortscott.edu \, or give us a call at 800-874-3722 ext. 5372.
