Manufacturing Day Slated for Nov. 4

Fort Scott, Kan.—In recognition of Manufacturing Day 2016, Fort Scott Community College, City of Fort Scott, Fort Scott Chamber of Commerce, and Fort Scott Visioning Committee will host an event on Friday, November 4. The event will showcase the variety of manufacturing opportunities that are available in Bourbon County. FSCC will host exhibits and live demonstrations throughout the day, and many local manufacturers will offer on-site tours of their facilities. 
 
Students and groups should check in between 8:00 and 8:45 am at FSCC East Campus (Armory), located at 2301 Horton Street, Fort Scott. Manufacturing tours are set for 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am. Exhibits will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at FSCC East Campus.
